OVERVIEW
A multi-part project redesigning the Katmai National Park and Preserve unigrid, a comprehensive graphic design system that standardizes formatting and production while conveying a strong visual identity for the National Park Service. The project includes the park unigrid, a foldable zine with hiking and trail info on one side and a map on the back, and a branded field notes journal.
UNIGRID
This unigrid design details the history and geography of Alaska's Katmai National Park as well as the local flora and fauna.
ZINE
For the outdoor enthusiast, this zine is loaded with information on camping and hiking in Katmai. It also contains a map of the park. Foldable, compact, and easily portable, as is necessary when it comes to backpacking.
FIELD NOTES BOOK
A simple, branded field notes journal to take notes or capture your thoughts while exploring the Alaskan wilderness. Compact enough to fit in with all the backpacking gear and not take up too much room.
