My homage to the wonderful typeface that is Futura.
This booklet is inspired by the anatomy and geometry of Futura. Each spread highlights unique elements of the typeface, such as sharp shapes and symmetry. The spreads are designed in ways that reflect Futura’s anatomy and geometry. Some spreads highlight the geometric shapes that can be found in individual letters, other spreads highlight the anatomy of the letters. As a sans serif typeface, Futura is free from frills, as is this book. The layouts do not include any overly decorative designs like bold layouts that expand into the bleed, “experimental” or overlapping typography, or changes in the orientation of the letters.
